Active Membership in the Battery

The Battery expects participation from its Active Members on Patriot’s Day, Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day, as well as at other events. Gun crew eligibility requires a minimum of 20 hours of yearly training and attendance at the annual Test Fire. Also, because it is a horse-drawn artillery unit, demonstrated horsemanship skills are important to the Battery. Membership in the Active Battery is open, upon vote of the Membership and payment of membership dues (currently $75)*, to those people who have demonstrated a genuine interest in the activities of the Battery, as well as a commitment to participating in the Battery’s activities. Membership in the Battery Association

Membership in the Concord Independent Battery Association is open to all people who wish to support the Battery and the purposes for which it exists. Association membership dues,* are currently $50. Please mail your Association Membership Application to:

Association members will receive a Membership Card in April, will be invited to the Battery’s Annual Patriot’s Day Luncheon, and will receive communications from the Battery from time to time.
